Check-in begins at 3:00 PM EST, and check-out is by 11:00 AM EST. Guests who book directly with The Read House also receive priority for a complimentary noon late check-out, based on availability.
What do I need to check in?
Guests must be at least 21 years old and present a valid government-issued photo ID along with a credit card in the guest’s name at check-in. To make arrival even easier, The Read House also offers digital pre-registration via SMS before your stay.
Do you require a deposit?
For most standard reservations, the first night’s room and tax is charged 48 hours before arrival. Advance Purchase reservations require full payment at the time of booking. Reservations may be canceled if payment cannot be successfully processed before arrival.
What is your cancellation policy?
Standard reservations may be canceled up to 48 hours before arrival (by 3:00 PM EST) without penalty. Advance Purchase reservations are non-refundable. Group reservations may have different cancellation terms as outlined in the group agreement.
Does The Read House charge a resort fee?
No. The Read House does not charge a resort fee.
Does The Read House charge an amenity fee?
